Leaders Elders And Deacons (LEAD) Academy

LEAD Academy is a one day training event for lay leaders in Anabaptist related congregations in Southern California.

Purpose

To equip Pacific Southwest Mennonite Conference (Southern California Region) and other Anabaptist individuals and congregations with skills needed for local/congregational ministry and faith formation.

  • Methods of Bible Study
  • Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective

  • Preparing and Leading Worship

Director of Urban Theological Formation

Rev. Valentina Satvedi is the Director of Urban Theological Formation for the Center for Anabaptist Leadership. A native of India, she is an ordained minister in the Church of the Brethren and serves as a member of their Anti-Racism team. She has studied on two continents and holds the M.Div degree from Bethany Theological Seminary. She also serves as Co-Director of the Anti-Racism Program for Mennonite Central Committee US.
